Mouth to Lung

Mouth to Lung vaping is an extremely common method that’s often used by former cigarette smokers. This is because it’s extremely like the way in which cigarette tobacco is inhaled and exhaled. This method of vaping involves taking a large draw and allowing the vapor to sit in your mouth for a second before inhaling it into your lungs. Then, after a couple seconds, the e-liquid is exhaled through the lips. 

If you’re looking for a vaping method that allows you to experience the flavor of your e-liquid like you would a fine wine, mouth to lung vaping is for you. Because of the pause that is taken between drawing the vapor into the mouth and inhaling it into the lungs, it has a moment to sit on the palate, allowing the vaper to really appreciate the nuances of the e-liquid’s flavor profile. 

Mouth to Lung vaping will give you a weaker throat hit as the vapor has a moment to dissipate before striking the back of the throat. If a powerful hit to the throat is what you’re after, direct lung vaping is probably more suited to your needs. 

Direct Lung

Direct Lung vaping involves pulling on your device while simultaneously inhaling the vapor into your lungs. After it has sat in the lungs for a second, it’s often exhaled forcefully. Unlike mouth to lung vaping, direct lung vaping doesn’t really allow time for the e-liquid flavor to fully develop on the palate. However, you’ll still be able to enjoy the taste of your e-juice to a certain extent. 

Direct Lung vaping provides a much stronger throat hit, making it ideal for those who are trying to chase that sensation. One drawback, however, is that this method of vaping will cause you to go through your vape juice much more quickly due to the high amount of vapor intake with each hit. 

There's nothing like finding the perfect method of vaping for your needs. While these two vaping styles are completely different from each other, they both provide incredible satisfaction in their own unique way.
